WWII ( Ryan's story)

It is June 6, 1944.  My name is Ryan and today is D-day, and it felt eerie, it was very strange.  I felt this way because I was the captain of my squad.  We cramped in a boat trying to get to Normandy.  We were in this boat for hours and cramped with one other squad.  I saw the beach and dead bodies every where.  When we came up to the beach they drop the door.  A storm of bullets hit us all at once.  I saw them kill 5 of my people all at once.  For the other squad, it was bad news for them.

We ran up to the barbed wire fence.  It was small enough to walk over but we were being shot at so we stayed down.  I yelled “Move up.”  so we did.  Then I saw the rest of my company die all at once.  One died with a faulty grenade.  The other 2 were shot trying to move forward.  The last one was shot in the head by a German.  I ran to the other captains that lost their squad.  Their names were Daniel and Dan.

We moved up with a company filled with about 20 men.  We moved up to where they were shooting from.  We took out Germans left and right.  The rest of the soldiers on the beach took out the bunkers with turrents.

After we took the bunker out we all moved up.  We took out the other Germans.  In no time we took over the beach and the hill.  We took a break and geared up.  We waited there for the reinforcements came.  It took about 4 hours for them to show up.  We all felt eerie of what lies ahead of us.  Every where I look it makes me bias seeing these people cry and it makes me think they’re weak.  It is also making Daniel crazy.

When we were waiting, we were talking about who we admired.  I said I adulate my dad who was in the military.  They said that they adulate my bravery.  They didn’t say, but I was happy.

The reinforcements came and we got are orders.  Are orders were to go deeper into France.  We geared up, just the three of us.  We went and left everyone.  We ran to the bushes.  We heard a German half track.  Then we hear an explosion.  Our tank killed it.  We met up with this squad and stayed with them.  Their orders were the same as ours.  We left the tank because it was a big sitting duck.  When we got to the city, we saw a few Germans.  A guy ran out and was shot but not from the Germans.  It was a sniper.  Luckily we had a sniper in our group.  We held them off until he got ready.  It was weird, he would pray while he was shooting.  He was good that’s all that counts I adulate him and his sharp shooting.  When we took them out, it made Dan bias and that made the privates cry.  This sniper is very eerie and I would be afraid of him.  I would never make him tumultuous and if you make him angry he’ll mess someone up.  All these Germans are bias and I would bed mental too if I was getting beat.

We then had to walk through a mine field.  One of the privates stepped on one and stayed.  One of our bomb pros with a subtle touch helped him escape the mine.  We were done then we went deeper into France.  This made us all tumultuous because we wanted it to be over.  We got a call from HQ to disarm all the mines in the city with a subtle touch.  We were all tumultuous and instead, we made sure that no one was around and we shot one mine and all of them went off.

After we were done we were ambushed by Germans.  They came and took all of our weapons.  They made us dig holes for our own death then right when the first shot was about to go off, we heard explosions.  It was our planes.  It had bombed the city and scared the Germans from there.  we were saved.  This was my story of my experience in WWII.
