The American society is obsessed with a lot of looks. They don’t like fat people being on covers of magazines. Hot girls like to go out with skinny and slim guys instead of overweight people. And the fat guys want 2 go out with the hot girls. It’s all about image in this world.thats what they all want.
If you look on movies, you see hot actors in it. When they have an award ceremony, you only see famous and hot people. They record them because people little like images. Girls would want hot guys. Hot guys would like hot girls. Would you like to have a fat girlfriend or a fat boyfriend? Would you probably say no because they are not skinny or hot. Would you like to go out with a hot guy or a hot girl? You would like because she has an image. She’s not ugly or fat. Everybody likes images. They want to marry people who are hot not ugly and they barely like fat people. They only marry them because they make a lot of money or they have a good personality. Later they get divorced with them for their money or they stay with them because they love them and want to live with the forever.
This is a connection to Cyrano de Bergerac because everyone is trying to find love. And just like Cyrano, Christian, valvert, and other people fight in Cyrano de Bergerac the fight in the book and the movie. In the real world we fight for reasons they fight. And we fight for stupid reasons to. This also relates because they judge Christian about how he dresses. And people in this world dress in their own way but other people like to judge other people. They care about their fashion.
